TWIG Mobile Telematics, a business of GeoSentric Plc, today announces availability of TWIG Protector personal safety device with 4-band GSM cellular connectivity.

Effective immediately, new orders of the TWIG Protector are delivered with 850/900/1800/1900 MHz GSM bands, providing now full operational capability in GSM networks in Americas as well as EMEA and Asia-Pacific.

Pursuant to this latest TWIG Protector product development, new market opportunities in USA, Canada and Latin America are being developed together with sales partners.

The next major addition to the TWIG Protector product range will be the launch of an ATEX –compliant version for use in explosion hazardous environments, planned to be available this summer.

TWIG Protector -products are used in a variety of personal safety applications, ranging from lone worker protection to social alarms.
