TWIG Mobile Telematics, a business of GeoSentric Plc, today announces availability for customer deliveries of a Wireless Alert solution for the TWIG Protector personal safety device.
Comprised of a TWIG Protector device, a wireless wrist panic button and an optional desk docking station, the Wireless Alert system provides an in-room plus wide-area solution for social alarms and personal safety, complete with GPS location and cellular communications.
TWIG Protector with Wireless Alert allows user to initiate emergency cycle by touching a discreet wrist button. Automatic call is made to predefined phone numbers and alert information including user’s GPS location is transmitted to central station. When placed in desk docking station, the device automatically directs the voice call through speakerphone.
The operating range of the wrist button is up to 100 meters from TWIG Protector -unit outdoors, and user can see from an indicator in the wrist unit an acknowledgement of reception of alert in the TWIG Protector.
The TWIG Protector can be configured to make totally silent alert, or then to provide a loud alert, depending on preference. Periodical beep tone can be activated, for locating an unconscious person.
Wireless Alert is an optional extra to the TWIG Protector, and wireless wrist buttons are available as an accessory. The TWIG Protector is available also with an optional automatic ManDown sensor.
TWIG Protector can be integrated with customer’s tracking system, or operated with TWIG WebFinder tracking service. GPS real-time tracking is a standard feature.
